Here's what's happening this weekend in our area. Calling all princesses! This Saturday, August 27th is the second annual Princess Party, A White Rock Firefighters Charity Fundraiser for Children's Initiatives begins at 12:30pm and runs through till 3:00pm at Star of the Sea Community Centre.

Ever wish you could still do the fun, winter activities without actually having to worry about the cold weather? The Shops at Morgan Crossing are offering Summer Skate. Experience the magic of ice skating outdoors FREE OF CHARGE from August 15-31 10am-5pm daily. Skate rental and sharpening available by donation The skating rink is back for some summer action! Their rink features a unique synthetic material that feels like real ice-- gather the family, grab your skates and put on the sunscreen because this outdoor activity is one you will want to experience!

Come out for another evening in Semiahmoo Park to enjoy the LAST weekend of Summer Music. The Star Captains will be performing. They also drew in a large crowd in early August when they performed at the Spirit of the Sea festival.
